UB recently spoke to the legendary Ann Nesby for the release of her new album “ANNiversary” and she told us why she was excited to to get back to recording new music; “I was really excited about doing this project. Having the opportunity to sing the music I love, and to step back into the role of the artist. As oppose to the acting and other things that I’ve been doing.” Ann went on to say; “Because I think I kind of fell into a slump, when I lost my writing partner Big Jim. My everything, so here I am. And I’m happy to be back!”
